YouTube star Jake Paul made a name for himself on Vine and YouTube, but it seems that the influencer turned boxer might be planning a move to Twitch sometime in the near future.

Jake Joseph Paul is an American YouTuber, internet personality and professional boxer. He initially rose to fame on Vine, before playing the role of Dirk Mann on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark for two seasons. He has a large presence across several social media channels, including Instagram and Twitter.

Now, on his recent twitter post, it seems like he has been thinking about streaming and it appears as though he may do this on Twitch.

In his August 4th twitter post, Jake Paul has posted a photo of himself sitting in front of a computer setup with three monitors asking his Twitter followers if he should start streaming. Notably, one of the screens has Twitch on it, which could be an indication where he might plan to stream. It’s unclear whether or not this is a definitive plan on Paul’s part, or merely a passing consideration, but it seems like he’s looking at his options, at the moment.

It’s hard to say what type of content Jake is planning on streaming but some fans are hoping that it could be boxing related. Jake Paul then soon followed up the Tweet with a poll, asking his followers whether or not he should start streaming. With more than 36,000 people participating in the poll, the majority told him that he shouldn’t stream, with 52% voting no, and 48% voting yes.

However, if he does take the leap, Jake would join his brother Logan on the platform three years after he teased his debut in March 2018.Twitch has become a massive success story, and it will be interesting to see how the platform grows in the future. And Jake Paul’s interest in Twitch speaks to how its grown, and how celebrities are increasingly seeing it as a viable way of connecting with audiences.
