FIFA 23 was the focus of Darren “IShowSpeed,” a popular YouTuber, on December 29. The content creator submitted his 88-rated squad to fulfill the Squad Building Challenge (SBC) during the broadcast.

Then, Darren queried his viewers about the likelihood of him winning Cristiano Ronaldo. The native of Ohio didn’t wait to finish the challenge and collect his rewards after reading a few remarks. At first, the streamer insisted that Ronaldo was not his and that the game had “lied” to him. IShowSpeed, however, was ecstatic when the character screen featuring the highly regarded player loaded up.

The 17-year-old personality started crying on his livestream after becoming emotional during the celebration.

On December 29, Darren tried to use the Ultimate Team SBC to get Ronaldo for FIFA 23. He then inquired about his possibilities of getting Ronaldo from his audience and community: “Oh, y’all ready y’all? This is it, y’all. We have like a, chat, so like, I probably; what is the percentage chance of me getting Ronaldo? What is the; yo chat, what is the percent chance of me getting Ronaldo? So if I press ‘Submit Squad’ I get Ronaldo?”

The former Twitch streamer was congratulated for winning a Mega Pack on a notice screen that appeared. He originally noticed the pop-up and started to freak out: “Where is he at?! They lied? Where’s he at? Oh here, oh my god. I got him? Oh, wait, wait. Wait, is this it?! Is this him? It’s not Ronaldo! Is this him? Wait, that’s not Ronaldo!”

IShowSpeed was completely taken aback when the player animation began playing at that very moment. He shouted out in jubilation after earning his icon: “’Oh, f**k you! Yes! SUI! Ronaldo! Let’s go!”

Later, as Darren praised Ronaldo’s in-game model, he broke down and began sobbing on his live stream: “Let’s go, bro! We did it! CR7! Let’s go! Come on!”
