IceManIsaac is a pilot-by-profession and part-time streamer who has been part of the content creation scene since May 2017. IceManIsaac uses a LG GN750-B 27″ monitor. The LG 27GN750-B is a 27″ gaming monitor that offers maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 at a maximum refresh rate of up to 240Hz at 1ms. SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless

IceManIsaac uses a SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless mouse. IceManIsaac’s setup includes a SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless gaming mouse. It boasts a TrueMove Air optical sensor that provides a range of 100 – 18,000Hz. This can be set in increments of 100 through its software, along with its 3-zone RGB lighting and 6 macro buttons. It offers a maximum acceleration of 40G along with a maximum tracking speed of 400IPS.

The chassis is constructed from honeycomb-dotted ABS Plastic, along with lightweight electronics that are 50% slimmer than standard mouse circuit boards. This combination allows puts its weight at just 66g (2.4oz). The shell is also coated in AquaBarrier that is rated IP54 for water and dust resistance. This protects it from accidental damage from spills or dust build-up. There are also PTFE glide skates for extra control. Furthermore, its ergonomic shape coupled with its 12.1 x 6.7 x 3.8cm (4.75 x 2.64 x 1.5″) dimensions make it most suited to right-handed users who favor either a claw or fingertip grip style.

WHAT KEYBOARD DOES ICEMANISAAC USE?

SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL

IceManIsaac uses a SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL keyboard. The SteelSeries Apex Pro TLK has dimensions of 139.26 x 355.44 x 40.44mm (5.48 x 13.99 x 1.60″) and is constructed from a series 5000 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy frame and is set with OmniPoint switches that allow for the actuation point to be adjusted between 0.4 – 3.6mm so that the user can adapt them on a per-key basis according to his preferences. They always operate at a 45.9G actuation force and an impressive report rate of 0.7ms. These switches are then set with removable PVC keycaps.

The keyboard allows for up to five macro profiles to be stored onboard. It also has full-key rollover and anti-ghosting capabilities and RGB lighting. It comes with a magnetic, soft-touch wrist-rest that can be easily detached from the keyboard.

WHAT HEADSET DOES ICEMANISAAC USE?

Steelseries Arctis Pro wireless

IceManIsaac uses a wireless Steelseries Arctis Pro headset. This headset can be found in a number of other streamers’ setups, such as NateHill and Replays. Its frame is constructed from polished steel and aluminum alloy and set with a plastic dual-layer arctic ski goggle headband. The earcups are rotatable and are padded with leatherette-covered cooling gel-infused memory foam that is designed to integrate the ProSpecs Glasses Relief System. This allows the padding to shape to glasses frames to give comfort to glasses-wearing users. It weighs 425.2g (15oz) and its cable features an inline USB ChatMix dial.

Furthermore, the earcups are closed-backed with an over-ear fit and set with 40mm neodymium drivers that provide a wide frequency response range of 10 – 40,000Hz. They operate with a nominal impedance of 32Ω and a sensitivity of 102dB. The retractable, bidirectional microphone operates at frequency response range of 100- 10,000Hz and a sensitivity of -38 DBV/pa.

It is compatible with PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mac, VR and mobile devices. However, although it offers 7.1 surround sound for all of these devices, the DTS Headphone:X v2.0 7.1 Surround option only works with Windows 7 or later devices.

WHAT MICROPHONE DOES ICEMANISAAC USE?

Shure SM7B

IceManIsaac uses a Shure SM7B microphone. Its unsurprising that IceManIsaac’s gaming setup features this mic, as it is pretty popular among content creators. It is a dynamic, large diaphragm microphone that has a sturdy construction comprising of enamel aluminum and steel casing with a switch-cover plate for its presence boost & high-pass filter switches.

It has a unidirectional polar pattern to prevent unwanted background noises from filtering in, as well as an inbuilt pop-filter to guard against plosive sounds. It also comes with an external windscreen to further protect it from wind blasts. It has a frequency response range of 50 – 20,000Hz the operates with a nominal impedance of 150Ω and a sensitivity of -59 dBV/Pa. Although it requires an XLR connector and audio interface device, it does not run on phantom power.

WHAT WEBCAM DOES ICEMANISAAC USE?

Sony A6400

IceManIsaac uses a Sony A6400 camera with a Sigma 16mm F1.4 lens. The Sony a6400 is a mirrorless camera that is designed for both video recording and still image capturing. IceManIsaac obviously uses it to enhance his video recordings, so that is what we will focus on.

It is integrated with an Exmor CMOS, APS-C-type sensor that can record at maximum resolutions of 1920 x 1080 (60p, 30p, 24p) at XAVC S: MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, AVCHD: MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 outputs. It also features eye-detection real-time autofocus with 425 phase-detection points to minimize blurring during video recordings. Its battery can last up to 125 mins of continuous shooting, but this is extended when it is plugged in to an external power source while recording.

It also has a microphone input port, which allows for an external microphone to be used during live recordings. It can then be mounted directly on the camera itself. The flip-LCD screen is useful for content creators who want to record commentaries while on-the-go. All recordings can be directly transferred to mobile devices with either Bluetooth 4.0 or Wi-Fi for social media sharing.

However, if you are just starting out, you might want to consider going with a far cheaper basic plug-and-play webcam like the Logitech C920 that is used by streamers such as Sacriel.
