North American Valorant player Spencer ‘Hiko‘ Martin recently stated that he has no idea what 100 Thieves‘ new front office structure plans to do with the team.
On March 22nd, 100 Thieves announced the addition of ex-casting duo Dan ‘ddk’ Kapadia and Sean Gares to their team. As general manager and head coach, respectively, they will lead the organization’s Valorant team as 100 Thieves attempts to return to the top of the esport after a period of decline.
The announcement came just days after the team was eliminated in the group stage of the VCT NA Stage 1 Challengers with a 1-4 record.
As a result, the upcoming VCT Masters event in Reykjavik will be 100 Thieves’ second international competition in a row, following their failure to qualify for Valorant Champions.
Hiko is one of North America’s most well-known Valorant players, and has been with 100 Thieves since the organization’s inception in June 2020. Even he, however, does not appear to have a certain spot on the roster, as the new front office figures aim to make whatever changes are required to ensure that the 100 Thieves flag will once again fly high.
Hiko revealed that, despite his previous negative experiences with organizations that have complete control over rosters, he supports 100 Thieves’ plan.
Sean Gares, a teammate of Hiko’s on a number of different CS:GO teams between 2012 and 2014, was also praised by Hiko.
