HasanAbi” Pike, one of the most controversial but unique Twitch streamers, has been suspended from the Amazon-owned service for a 48-hour period, as he announced on Twitter.

For those who don’t know, HasanAbi is a political Twitch streamer that engages his audience in conversation about political, geopolitical, historical, and a variety of social issues. His ideals and viewpoints occasionally put him in conflict with viewers who had opposing views. He claimed that the prohibition was nothing more than a Censored.tv copy strike. a website dedicated to supporting anti-censorship measures and free expression. He was forbidden from attempting to report on an event while making commentary on its activities.

He claimed on Twitter that the suspension on his channel was personally imposed by the CTO of the free speech-supporting site. He commented on Twitter, “lmao the free speech defenders own CTO himself issued the takedown (just for my channel, btw)”

Censored.TVs ideologies align with HasanAbi so it is strange and weird at the same time to see the advocates of free speech take down someone trying to promote the same. The Georgia Runoff Senate race was resumed on December 6, 2022, by Censored.tv as he was enjoying his 48-hour ban from Twitch streaming.

The community also brought up the fact that he was the only one who had to pay a price for illegally streaming content from Censored.tv, while Asmongold, who did the same thing, got away with it.
