After completing ‘Through the Fire and Flames’ on Guitar Hero at an incredible 275 percent speed, a gamer has set a new world record.

CarnyJared is a Twitch streamer who is known for using Clone Hero to play Guitar Hero games and filming himself doing so. He has become well-known online for his talent.

He is also no stranger to the song ‘Through The Fire And Flames,’ which is widely regarded as the most difficult song in existence and recently attempted doing it while eating a ghost chilli pepper.

Dragonforce’s riff-laden odyssey is a five-minute test of dexterity, skill, and endurance – just getting through the said song on any level was a feat in itself. It took a lot of dedication to complete it in Expert mode. To complete it without missing a single note on Expert? That elevates you to a whole new level.

CarnyJared pushed himself even further by finishing the said song at 275 percent speed, which resulted for him to finish and achieve a new record in the process.

The gamer went on to say that he thinks he can push it a little further, but getting past the solo is unbelievably difficult, and people were blown away.

One person commented that it is complete lunacy and that he couldn’t stop laughing halfway through it and wondered how it was even possible.

The video was also shared on Reddit, where it received over 11,000 likes and hundreds of comments, including one from someone who joked that he probably played the song more times than the Dragonforce members.

Someone else was curious about what happens when his right hand reaches the fretboard buttons. CarnyJared himself popped up to explain that back in the day, guitar hero controllers had terrible latency and didn’t allow for specific techniques, but now that they have way better hardware, they can do things like slide all of their four fingers of one hand up the fretboard while holding green on the other hand, and it inputs a ton of hammer-ons if you time it right.

The fast hammer-on sections where you see CarnyJared sliding and trying to input as much as he can because there’s no stamina-saving way to hit everything, just hope he explains it well and that they’ve advanced this game into oblivion.
