WHAT MOUSE DOES FORMAL USE?

Razer DeathAdder chroma mouse

FormaL uses a Razer DeathAdder mouse. FormaL hasn’t specified which Razer DeathAdder mouse he uses, but as he is an FPS pro, we’re going to assume it’s most likely the Chroma, as it appears more frequently in setups than the other variants do. The Chroma version is an update of the original that now features RGB lighting and a 4G optical sensor. This sensor provides a dpi range of 100 – 10,000 that can be set in increments of 50, with the possibility of storing up to five dpi profiles onboard. It also has three polling rate options of 125Hz (8ms), 500Hz (2ms) or 1,000Hz (1ms) that can be toggled directly on the mouse. Furthermore, it has a maximum speed of 200 IPS at a maximum acceleration of 50G, as well as a total of five programable buttons.

Its shape is best suited to right-handed users with medium-sized hands and is comfortable for any grip type. The measurements work out to 12.8 x 7.01 x 4.39cm (5.04 x 2.76 x 1.73”) at a weight of 104.9g (3.7oz.)

WHAT KEYBOARD DOES FORMAL USE?

Razer BlackWidow Chroma keyboard

FormaL uses a Razer BlackWidow Chroma keyboard. The Razer BlackWidow Chroma (V1) is constructed with metal top-mounting and set with Razer Green switches and topped with ABS keycaps. The switches give a ‘tactile and clicky’ feedback and require an actuation force of 50G. Their actuation point is at 1.9mm and they have a total travel distance of 4mm.

The keys feature N-key roll-over and anti-ghosting, with all keys being fully programmable thanks to their Razer HyperShift double key functionality. The macro recordings can be done on-the-fly and are bound to the dedicated column of macro-keys found on the keyboard’s left side. There is a column of programable G-keys on the left of the keyboard, with the option to store up to 5 onboard profiles. This adds extra width, putting its dimensions at 47,5 x 17.1 x 3.9cm (18.72 x 6.74 x 1.54″).
