FaZeBlaze is an entertainment fps streamer who has been part of the COD content grind since 2013. His goal was always to be noticed by an org and being a full-time streamer, and thanks to his skills, sense of humor and luck he was soon able to make his dream came true. He is also one of the OG FazE Clan members, as he has been with the org sine 2015. Below, we have included an overview of the known peripherals that have been incorporated into FaZeBlaze’s gaming setup.

WHAT CONTROLLER DOES FAZEBLAZE USE?

PS4 Scuf Impact FaZe controller

FaZeBlaze uses a PS4 Scuf Impact FaZe controller. FaZeBlaze is a controller player, so he does not have a gaming mouse and keyboard, although he does have a decent pair for his streaming setup. The PS4 Scuf Impact FaZe is a wireless controller for PS4, Mac, Mobile and PC devices. Its battery can last up to 8-hours. It comes with four interchangeable paddles, anti-friction rings and an optional 3-in-1 Trigger Control System, in addition to other features. Its buttons and paddles can be remapped through its software. It is available in a variety of skins and other customization options, such as EMR, trigger systems, bumpers, thumb stick height and grip type. Its base weight is 170g (8oz.) and it measures 17 x 5 x 10.6cm (6.7 x 2 x 4.2”.)

WHAT HEADSET DOES FAZEBLAZE USE?

Audio-Technica ATH-M50x

FaZeBlaze uses Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones. FazeBlaze’s gaming setup includes the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x dynamic headphones. Although they can connect to Bluetooth, they are not wireless. However, they do come with three cable options to ensure universal compatibility, with the exception of Windows 10 devices. Their closed-backed earcups are fitted with large-aperture 45mm neodymium drivers that offer a frequency response range of 15 – 28,000Hz at a nominal impedance of 38Ω and a sensitivity of 99dB.

They are made from a lightweight plastic and have an over-ear fit. The headband is collapsible, and the joins allow for the earcup to rotate 90° in both directions. This provides comfort when it is placed around the neck, as well as to make transportation and storage less dangerous. For further comfort, the earcups’ cushions are covered in a leatherette fabric that has both a cooling and sound-insulating effect. The headband is also padded. Overall, they weigh 286g (10zo) and have dimensions of 28.96 x 25.4 x 10.41cm (11.4 x 10 x 4.1″.)

WHAT MICROPHONE DOES FAZEBLAZE USE?

Neumann TLM 103

FaZeBlaze uses a Neumann TLM 103 microphone. The Neumann TLM 103 is a large diaphragm microphone. It utilizes a pressure gradient transducer and has a cardioid polar pattern that operates on a side-address. It has s a frequency response range of 20 – 20,000Hz at a nominal impedance of 50Ω and a maximum SPL of 138dB. It also provides a broad presence boost of between 6 – 15kHz, which helps the voice to cut through the mix, as well as an internal windscreen to stifle external plosive and pressure noises that might otherwise interfere with the recordings. All of these features are included because this device is intended for professional vocal, noise and solo instrument recordings. WHAT WEBCAM DOES FAZEBLAZE USE?

Razer Kiyo Pro

FaZeBlaze uses a Razer Kiyo Pro webcam. The Razer Kiyo is a basic plug-and-play webcam that was specifically designed with streamers in mind. Its 4MP sensor is capable of recording in resolution options of 1080p@30FPS, 720p@60FPS, 480p@30FPS and 360p@30FPS. It can be easily clipped on to thin screens or mounted on a stand. A major bonus feature is its built-in 12-step ring light that allows for many lighting adjustment and brightness options so as to eliminate dark shadows. It offers an 81.6° field of view at an aspect ratio of 4:3. Additionally, many of its features can be set to adjust automatically, which further helps to save streamers time.

In addition to being compatible with basic video chat platforms such as Skype or FaceTime, it is also compatible with streaming software such as OBS and XSplit. However, it is important to note that it is only compatible with Windows PCs and not Macs. It is compatible with Windows 7 64-bit (or higher.)

WHAT MIXER DOES FAZEBLAZE USE?

TC-Helicon GoXLR mixer

FaZeBlaze uses a TC Helicon GoXLR mixer. Unsurprisingly, FaZeBlaze has opted for the GoXLR, which is found in many streamers’ setups, including those of CohhCarnage, Danucd and the Aceu, to name a few. It is an audio mixer for solo recordings that is capable of providing 48V of phantom power, as well as supporting up to 70dB of gain if needed. It can connect up to one microphone with either an XLR connector and one TS/TRS/TRRS microphone jack. It cannot input USB devices, though. There is also a headphone port.

It has separate channels for Mic, Chat, Music and System with each having their own dedicated volume slider and mute button. The effects and live insertions/damage control, can is then located on the right side, which is split into three sections. The top half offers a variety of voice and sound effects, like robot and reverb. There is also the option to set new effects through its software. The RGB lighting can also be set that way. The bottom half then features a bleep button in the right corner for filtering out curse words, as well as a press-to-mute button to edit out sneezes or coughs. On the left corner is a voice sampler. This can be programmed with on-the-fly effects.
