On April 5th, Epic will hold their State of Unreal Stream, and Fortnite players will be able to find a few pieces of free gear simply by tuning in! What can players expect to find, though? Will it be a one-of-a-kind skin, spray, or emote, or something completely different?

Let’s dig a little deeper into things and see what you can expect, as well as when and where you can watch and claim your free Fortnite goodies.

The news of exclusive sprays releasing during the upcoming Twitch Broadcast of State of Unreal was broken thanks to Twitter user iFireMonkey.

On April 4th, between 2 pm ET and 4:30 pm ET, watch the Twitch channel for kkatamina or DisguisedToast for at least 15 minutes to unlock the Windwalker Echo Spray. This is the only way to get this exclusive skin that has been shown so far, but we can see in the tweet that there are other channels that may be available to stream in order to unlock that spray.

There’s also a special Surprise Spray if you tune in to the UnrealEngine Twitch channel between 11 a.m. and 12 a.m. ET on April 5th, so there’s a lot less time to watch this than the previous stream.

What’s intriguing about this spray is that there are no hints as to what it could be, so fans will have to tune in to find out what kind of thrills await them.

With the release of Chapter 3, Fortnite’s engines have been upgraded to Unreal Engine 5, allowing for improved weather and lighting effects, so there’s a chance that fans of the popular battle royale game will see more updates with this stream. Other announcements, such as new games that will use the engine, may follow, but we’ll have to wait a few more days to see what that entails.

You can try out this feature by watching some popular streamers today and tomorrow, as another drop for exclusive Fortnite items is currently taking place.

Fortnite is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
