During a trip to South Korea with her One True King streaming team, including roommate Mizkif, Twitch star Emiru received a gift from an eager fan.
At the end of last year, Emiru became one of Twitch’s fastest-growing streamers, with her average viewership skyrocketing to over 10,000 and a large number of new fans.
She capped off a successful year on the platform in 2021 by joining the streaming organization OTK, which she described as “everything I ever wanted.”
She’s now accompanied the organization on a trip to South Korea, where she met one of her adoring fans in person.
One young fan approached Emiru specifically while Mizkif was streaming the OTK crew’s adventures on the streets of South Korea.
The girl requested Emiru’s signature before presenting him with a real-life donation. The box contained 15k won (roughly $10) as well as a slew of Kirby-themed stickers and trinkets. Emiru has become known for her love of Kirby, with dozens of plushies of Nintendo’s pink puff-ball adorning the room from which she streams.
Meeting a fan from another country in person was a surreal experience for Emiru, and it goes to show how popular she has become.
This has been the highlight of the OTK-SouthKorea trip thus far, as Esfand was rushed to the hospital with a thumb injury that may require surgery when the group began their journey.
Despite the fact that their journey was slightly derailed, it was nice to see such a happy moment.
