Twitch streamer Amouranth has once again proven that she is the streaming queen.

Twitch recently added a new category called “Animals, Aquariums, and Zoos,” but fans quickly recognized that the top broadcaster was already Amouranth. Despite the fact that the category is still new, Amouranth was able to attract almost 8,000 viewers, while the second-place, DuckvilleUSA, only received roughly 1,500.

Amouranth’s ability to draw in viewers is undeniable, but some claim that Twitch has simply created another category for the divisive streamer to conquer.

This year, Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa has remained at the top of the streamer news, raking in over $1 million per month and dominating Twitch’s “Just Chatting” and “ASMR” categories. Twitch even made a new category earlier this year, “Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches,” essentially as a means of accommodating for the popular “hot tub meta” Amouranth participated in — and she’s conquered that as well.

However, Amouranth has had previous issues with the platform, having been banned and reinstated five times. Amouranth’s most recent suspension appeared to be her “last strike,” yet it only lasted three days, and there’s no reason could be discerned for her removal.

The new category “Animals, Aquariums, and Zoos” is for people who want to view pets or wildlife in a variety of settings. Animals are at the focus of attention, whether it’s a fixed camera set to catch someone’s sophisticated in-home aquarium or a fresh litter of kittens learning to walk.

In the case of Amouranth, she’s been streaming from a stable and tending to a horse, but some have expressed astonishment that this was enough to earn her the top rank in the new category.
