Since Jurgen Klopp brought him to the club in a £40 million deal from Wolves 18 months ago, the 25-year-old has been in red-hot form.
The attacker had just finished a season in which he scored seven goals for Wolves despite being frequently left out of the starting lineup.
Klopp, on the other hand, saw something in the attacker and has been proven correct ever since.
During the first lockdown, Jota competed in a Premier League tournament against Trent Alexander-Arnold, with the Portuguese coming out on top.
