Fans are in shock and seeking explanations after Edwin Castro, a FIFA streamer, was banned from Twitch for an unspecified reason.
When Castro joined The Sidemen with well-known influencers like KSI and Vikkstar, his fame skyrocketed. He is well known for his FIFA livestreams, which have helped collect a lot of money for charitable causes. He also took part in the Sideman Charity Match last year against several of his fellow Sidemen and Mr. Beast. Castro, however, is also well-known for a few minor controversies, such as live-streaming a fast-paced chase during the FIFA World Cup.
Castro1021’s account was shut down on April 13 according to the StreamerBans Twitter account, which has confirmed this. Additionally, it isn’t a late April Fool’s hoax. Many followers have already defended Castro and questioned what the Mexican-American streamer had done to deserve to be banned. “There’s no way he did anything to get banned.”, a fellow streamer named soap said in agreement with the feeling of the viewer.
However, this isn’t Castro’s first mistake. Despite being affiliated with EA Sports’ Game Changer program, he has previously been banned from the FIFA 22 FUT transfer market. Additionally, he has a tendency to erupt during FIFA games and has destroyed a significant number of controllers while streaming. However, his supporters and peers are understandably perplexed given that he has spent a significant portion of his streaming career to philanthropic work and that there isn’t a clear explanation for this suspension.
