On October 28th, brave streamer bumpaah received a seven-day ban from Twitch for displaying a video of two furries going down on stream.
Bumpaah, a content creator for the Canadian esports and gaming company SoaR Gaming, streams primarily Valorant for his audience and creates amusing and instructive content on the Riot Games game. According to Twitch Tracker, the streamer has approximately 80,000 followers and an average of 200 viewers. Additionally, he has a YouTube channel with almost 60,000 subscribers and has performed live streams there in the past. He is currently under fire for inappropriately showing stuff on stream.
The brave broadcaster quickly clarified that the Twitch ban was due to “showing two people in full fur suits humping” when she appeared on the StreamerBans Twitter account.
Bumpaah remarked after the suspension that although he deserved it, the punishment seemed excessive given that both people were wearing full fur costumes and no graphic content was displayed. Bumpaah has mocked the circumstance by sharing jokes about the ban, but he does appear to be unhappy with how it was handled. He tweeted a comparison between what he showed his audience and a streamer who was banned for four days for performing a sexual act.
However, the jokes persisted below the post. He said under the initial post that “this is discrimination against the furry community and I won’t stand for it.” On October 4, bumpaah will be permitted to resume streaming on Twitch.
