BigEx uses an Acer Predator XB272 monitor. The Acer Predator XB272 is a 27″ gaming monitor that offers a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080p QHD at refresh rate options of 100Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz or 240Hz and a response time of 1ms. It offers maximum brightness of 400 cd/m² and a pixel pitch of 0.3113mm. Up to three profiles can be stored directly on the monitor.
Its stand allows for the monitor to be tilted between -5°to 20° and swiveled 90°. It cannot be pivoted, but its height can be increased by up to 11.5cm (4.53″). There are also a few useful technologies integrated into it, such as its Ultra Low Motion Blur feature that helps fast-paced scenes to flow more smoothly. However, it only works at 100Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz. Then there is its Predator GameView technology that “allows you to adjust dark boost levels, make precise color adjustments and set up aim points for hip-fire accuracy,” as well as Predator EyeProtect’s Flicker-less blue-light filter that helps to decrease eyestrain over long-term use. It is also Nvidia G-Sync compatible.
WHAT MOUSE DOES BIGEX USE?
BigEx uses a Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse. BigEx’s gaming setup features the Logitech G Pro wireless mouse that was one of the more popular mice among pros and streamers for a couple of years. The mouse can store up to 6 DPI profiles onboard. These can be set in increments of 50 through the Logitech G Hub software. That is also where its RGB LIGHTSYNC lighting can be set.
However, the big draw in this mouse is its truly ambidextrous design. This is because it not only has an ergonomic shape, but in addition to its four set buttons, it also comes with two sets of two side buttons that can be attached to either or both sides of the mouse, thus allowing for a maximum of 8 buttons. These can then be set with up to 6 macro profiles. It is compatible with Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.11 or later, or Chrome OS.
WHAT KEYBOARD DOES BIGEX USE?
BigEx uses a SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL keyboard. This is the tenkeyless version of the SteelSeries Apex Pro wired gaming keyboard. It utilizes SteelSeries’ OmniPoint mechanical switches that can be adjusted on-the-fly to have an actuation point of anywhere between 0.4-3.6mm at a report rate of 0.7ms and a polling rate of 1,000Hz. The actuate at a force of 45cN. It is constructed from an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy frame and the switches are topped with PVC keycaps. These keycaps can be swapped out for others, if you would prefer. It also comes with a soft-touch, detachable magnetic wrist rest.
The navigation keys serve as double-function macro keys and can be store up to 5 macro profiles. These, as well as the per-key RGB lighting can be set through its SteelSeries Engine 3.15+ software. This version is only available as wired device and has a black and red aesthetic. Otherwise, it is constructed from a flexible, yet durable casing with metal sliders and joints that allow the earcups to rotate 90°. The over-ear earcups feature 40mm drivers that provide a frequency response range of 20-20,000Hz at a nominal impedance 48Ω. They are compatible with a wide range of devices, including PC, Mac and Nintendo Switch devices and also feature a detachable boom mic with a cardioid polar pattern that can be attached to either headphone. They weigh 369g (13.02oz.)
WHAT MICROPHONE DOES BIGEX USE?
BigEx uses an Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ microphone. The Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ is a fairly popular plug-and-play microphone that can also be found in the setups of MoonMoon, LeTsHe and Aceu. It is a condenser microphone that has a frequency response range of 20-20,000Hz that operates at a nominal impedance of 100Ω and a maximum SPL of 144dB. It has a sturdy metal construction and its cardioid polar pattern inputs at a side-address. It is officially compatible with Windows 7 or later and Mac OS X or later.
WHAT WEBCAM DOES BIGEX USE?
BigEx uses a Logitech C920 webcam. BigEx’s gaming setup includes the Logitech C920 which is another basic piece of streaming equipment. It too has a plug-and-play design. It is set with a 3mp optical sensor that provides a maximum resolution of
1920 x 1080p that can record at either 720 or 1080p@30fps and a video calling resolution of 1280 x 720p. Its field of view is 78 ° and it also features RightLight 2 light correction to adjust to changes in room lighting. It can easily clip onto most flat screens and is compatible with most major streaming software.
WHAT MIXER DOES BIGEX USE?
BigEx uses a TC Helicon GoXLR mixer. The TC Helicon is a solo-recording mixer that has control and mute sliders for four channels, namely Mic, Chat, Music, and System. It can input for either one TS/TRS/TRRS or XLR microphone, and one set of headphones. It can also provide +40V phantom power with the press of a button, as well as up to 70dB of gain. Its right side is dedicated to audio effects like gender-bender, robot and custom options, as well as an on-the-fly sample section and damage control mute and bleep buttons.
