Since the public beta of Overwatch 2 was released on Tuesday, Zack, or Asmongold as he’s better known, has been playing it. The World of Warcraft and MMO streamer has played the game on his channel and has even teamed up with Félix “xQc” Lengyel for a few games. Here are some of the highlights from his ongoing Overwatch 2 streams.

On Tuesday, the popular World of Warcraft streamer began playing the game and was immediately drawn to two main characters, Bastion and Roadhog. Asmongold typically plays warrior classes in MMOs that focus on damage, it’s no surprise that he chose to play characters capable of taking out an entire team or hooking and one-shotting an enemy.

Here he is battling another Bastion, which ends in some unfortunate circumstances.

Asmongold was introduced to Echo and her transformation shenanigans while he was playing Roadhog. He used a hook and his Roadhog ultimate to try to kill Echo, but he was unaware of Echo’s ability to transform into enemy characters. As a result, he was dragged off the stage at the last possible moment. His disbelief as he becomes addicted is priceless.

Asmongold captures the chaos of Overwatch 2 as a game in another clip, where he is trapped in a house on the corner of Ilios and must face a raging Winston.

He was eventually pursued by two more enemies, and in a fit of rage, he used Roadhog’s ultimate to spin his camera angle around. Who are we to question his tactics when he had an 11-player kill streak at the time?

Finally, Asmongold’s first encounter with Tracer made him laugh in his Twitch chat as he struggled to track down Tracer, who sped past him multiple times. He did his best to aim his shotgun at her, but the Tracer dashed away as soon as he got close. He has respawned, completely stunned by what has just happened in front of him, and has a third eye view of his character from the sky.

The Overwatch 2 beta is still going on, and players can get a beta key by simply tuning in to any of the approved list of streamers for four hours.
