Brandon Ewing aka Atrioc who is a former Twitch marketing staff turned streamer, has made a comment about YouTuber Dream Minecraft cheating scandal while reacting to a YouTube video on how Dragon Warrior III speedrunners used tricks to beat the game faster.
Dream is one of the most popular Minecraft streamers in the world amassing 24.9M subscribers on his youtube channel. Last year, Dream was accused of cheating on his minecraft speedrun, which he initially denied.
However, months after the initial accusations, Dream came out and released a twitlonger post admitting that he had increased drop rates enabled on his Minecraft speedruns. He apologized for what he did as well as the speedrunning moderation team. Dream received a massive backlash from the community because of the drama with many streamers and personalities also weighing in and giving their thoughts about the matter.
Now, just two months after Dream admitted to cheating, the former Twitch marketing employee-turned-streamer Atrioc made a comment on the drama during his recent stream while he was reacting to a YouTube video. In the video, a bug was mentioned that involves changing the memory of the game and using the “Dream Ruby” item.
Because of this, Twitch streamer Atrioc was quick to point out that the video pretty much mentioned the Minecraft star, and how familiar the situation was. Here’s what he stated; “Wow, using Dream to change the game’s code… interesting. I feel like I’m getting some sort of Déjà vu… I don’t know why.” This has prompted his chat to fall about themselves laughing.
