Twitch star Felix Lengyel aka xQc has his twitch channel recently been attacked by twitch fake followers or bot accounts once again while he was on his streaming break.

Over the years, several streamers have been a victim of trolls that hit on their channels with fake followers and chat messages. Some of the small channels on the platform have become a victim of these trolls making their channel put up to the popularity charts.

Even some big name streamers such as Adin Ross also fall victim to them as back in April, he has been hit with a huge twitch follow bot adding millions of followers in just a day. Now, another big name streamer has become a victim and that is twitch streamer xQc. After he got banned for 5 hours from the platform due to streaming a video of the highlights from the Olympics, xQc has now decided to take a short break from streaming due to unknown reasons.

However, even though he was absent from streaming, his twitch channel which previously boasted around six million followers has skyrocketed into the top six most followed channels on the platform with around three million fake followers being added. According to the report from TwitchMetrics, xQc was hit with the boost on July 30th.

It was a clear sign of fake viewers as his channel views remain unaffected. Adding millions of followers to a channel can cause the channel to be flagged and ultimately suspended. But it has not happened to xQc. Twitch has, previously, dealt with these fake follower bottings in a speedy fashion, deleting the accounts and resetting the follower counts back to their previous.
