Twitch streamer ‘kiapiaa’ has blasted Artesian Builds’ CEO Noah Katz for allegedly changing the rules of a PC giveaway after “belittling” her stream stats.

Computer parts such as graphics cards have become more difficult to come by as a result of a global supply shortage, and prebuilt PC companies have grown in popularity among content creators due to their ability to receive products directly from the manufacturer.

Artesian Builds is one of these companies, with an ambassador program that allows creators to share a link or discount code with their community in exchange for a percentage of sales made with their code.

Now, a Twitch streamer known as ‘kiapiaa’ has accused the company’s CEO of “slander” after he made comments after she won the giveaway. After her name was chosen to win a completely built PC, kiapiaa posted clips of the Artesian Builds live stream in a multi-tweet thread on her Twitter account.

Kia isn’t the only one to criticize the company after reading her Twitch stats and naming off which parts are above his “threshold.” Twitch streamer ‘SonicMega’ claimed that just to be sponsored by Artesian Builds, they would have had to buy a portion of their own product.

Kia issued a four-tweet apology shortly after she posted her multi-tweet thread on Twitter. The company went on to say that they have always and will continue to give away computer parts to ambassadors on stream.

The company has not responded to the criticism that followed the apology in the replies. We’ll make sure to update you if they make any additional statements.
