Unpopular online figure The Romanian Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism yesterday conducted a raid on Andrew Tate’s residence and temporarily detained him together with his brother Tristan Tate.
According to BNO News, the Tate brothers were seized by Romanian authorities on charges of human trafficking in connection with his cam girl company.
Andrew Tate frequently partnered and disagreed with a number of well-known streamers throughout his quick ascent to internet popularity. Asmongold rebuked claims that he’s taken Andrew Tate’s side, later saying “Why would you think I trust Andrew Tate? You think I can only trust the government or Andrew Tate? What if they’re both lying? Don’t put words in my mouth.”
In the end, Asmongold said that the dispute between the Tate brothers and the Romanian government would provide yet another opportunity for judicial drama since he believes Andrew Tate might ask to have his proceedings aired.
