In his recent Twitter post, World of Warcraft streamer Asmongold has voiced out his opinions regarding the recent news about the two biggest streamers on the platform Dr Lupo and TimTheTatman making their move into YouTube gaming.

While in the midst of the ‘A Day Off Twitch‘ boycott, the two biggest streamers on the platform Dr Lupo and TimtheTatman have taken over the internet announcing their departure from Twitch as they are making a move to Youtube Gaming in an exclusive deal contract. Youtube gaming has been one of the biggest competitors of Twitch providing home to some of the biggest streamers out there, including Valkyrae and DrDisrespect.

Now, it seems like YouTube Gaming is quickly picking up steam and piling pressure on Twitch. Following this, many streamers have weighed in and voiced out their thoughts about the news including Twitch streamer Asmongold. Asmongold is currently taking a break from streaming on Twitch for personal reasons so he voiced out his thoughts on his most recent twitter post. He wrote; “With the newest wave of big creators like Tim and Lupo moving to YouTube I think we could start to see a real shakeup in streaming overall. Now, we’re beginning to see entire viewership ecosystems moving rather than individual streamers. YouTube is making the right decisions.”

His tweet has received a lot of responses online with one user even asks the streamer whether or not he would consider a move to YouTube in which Asmongold replied stating that; “Most months I have 2x more views monthly on YouTube than I do on Twitch, if I thought my streams would get more viewers there I’d stream on YouTube. I don’t really care about the money, but a contract with a 20 mil signing bonus would help too”.
