Zack “Asmongold,” a popular Twitch streamer, shared his thoughts on the latest issue involving fellow content creator ItsSliker.
Asmongold came upon a video of ItsSliker’s ex-girlfriend Erica talking about the latter’s mental health following the “scamming” issue while perusing the r/LivestreamFail subreddit. She remarked: “Statistics show that gambling has the highest suicide rate among all addictions, and Sliker is suicidal, and I’m just terrified that I’m going to wake up one day to a phone call that he’s killed himself.”
Asmongold voiced his opinion after viewing the 38-second footage, stating that if Sliker couldn’t handle the fallout from his actions, he shouldn’t have cheated individuals and “ruined their lives” in the first place. He declared: “I don’t give a f**k. He’s a parasite! He’s a f***ing sociopath, parasite, who’s preying on people with literal f***ing cancer. Going through surgery, to give them more money, and you want me to worry about his feelings? I don’t think so!”
Asmongold used the four-hour point of the September 19 broadcast to respond to the most popular posts on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit. Asmongold watched Erica’s Twitch footage where she expressed her concerns about ItsSliker’s mental health after watching several streamer dispute clips involving Felix “xQc,” Hasan “HasanAbi,” and others. Asmongold’s first response was: “Yeah? Is that right? I wonder if he; I wonder if he gave even a single f**k. Like, I don’t give a f**k about Sliker. I don’t care what happens to him. He’s a piece of s**t, and if facing repercussions for scamming people, and ruining their lives, is somehow going to upset you, then that’s too f***ing bad! You shouldn’t have done that! I don’t, it’s like, ‘Oh, it’s hurting his feelings, and everybody’s calling him out for stealing.'”
The content creator from Austin, Texas, insisted he didn’t give a damn about ItsSliker. Following a description of how the latter allegedly conned a cancer patient, Asmongold said: “Yeah, I don’t f***ing think so! That’s not going to happen. Yeah, it’s like, I saw people like, ‘Oh, I feel bad,’ like, ‘Oh, he really the victim,’ no, he’s not. He’s a thief and a parasite. He’s not even a person! He’s not even like, what kind of a real person does that?”
Zack gave a few instances of ItsSliker “stealing” from other people and said he didn’t feel sorry for the Briton. Additionally, the World of Warcraft player suggested that Twitch “completely” ban the streamer from the service.
As the debate went on, Asmongold said he was more worried about the suspected fraud victims and those who were “actually affected” by the situation: “I care about how the victims feel, people who are actually affected by this. The people whose lives were altered in a massive way!”
