Fans of the World of Warcraft streamer Asmongold are somewhat perplexed and worried because Asmongold has stopped live-streaming. Asmongold disclosed that he left Twitch due to a “mid-life crisis.”

Asmongold is renowned for his candor, MMORPG skills, and irregular streaming schedule. The popular streamer, who has well over 3 million Twitch followers, doesn’t follow a strict streaming schedule, unlike many of his top-10 competitors.

He has previously taken breaks for personal reasons. This time, Asmongold’s lack of activity on Twitch confused the fans. Asmongold revealed what had prevented him from streaming on July 30, and described a very stressful day that led to his eventual breakdown on YouTube. He had to take his car to the shop for maintenance because the junkyard was nearby and it had passed its inspection.

He also had to deal with his father’s illness and some additional obligations, including taxes and investing. When his father left him hanging regarding the car, Asmongold began to panic. In temperatures of 110 degrees, he walked miles to his father’s house only to discover that he was lounging around. He picked up some food on the way back home and began to eat while meeting with the OTK members. At that point, his tooth fell out.

Asmongold continued by describing how his home had fallen into disarray, with trash all over his room and a broken sink dripping with black water. Asmongold claimed he was going through a mid-life crisis as a result of his tooth breaking, his car breaking down, and the state of his house.

He has reportedly started to take better care of himself and his home, which is what apparently caused the weeks-long break from Twitch. Asmongold proudly flaunted his recently completed room clean-up on Twitter.

Many of Asmongold’s supporters praised the development. The furniture was cleared, and the boxes and trash were gone.

The dirty floors were unavoidably brought up by some, but others countered that it was still a great start. While some of his fans expressed concern about his mental health, they were happy that he was taking action to make things better.

Fans are hoping to see Asmongold back in action and in better shape even though he hasn’t yet specified a return date.
