A Twitch viewer recently gave $40,000 to help a streamer who had been banned from the NoPixel GTA Online RP server.

Roleplaying servers are gradually gaining popularity among Twitch streamers, even though GTA Online is still one of the most widely used online services. There are many large RP servers out there, but NoPixel is one of the most well-liked ones.

To join this exclusive server, players must submit an application. The server is well-known for its extensive player ban list, which includes notable players like xQc.

Twitch streamer Ming, who was banned from the server in 2019 for leaving a criminal in a cell with a gun, is one such player. Since then, Ming has made numerous unsuccessful attempts to get himself unbanned. One of Ming’s supporters recently gave $40,000 to get him back on the server, so that may soon change.

The owner of NoPixel, koil, recently hosted a charity stream for Kidney Health Australia and made it clear that if he received $100,000 in donations, Ming would be allowed to play again. After that, Incivik, the creator of the Saudi Arabian esports group Sandrock Gaming, gave koil two donations totaling $20,000 each.

A portion of the charity stream shows koil playing GTA Online. The first $20,000 will be sent to him. Koil can be heard giggling after seeing that message before receiving the subsequent $20,000 is sent. After seeing the final tally of $40,000.

Ming tweeted that he was watching the stream and that he would be returning home soon after. Many thanks to everyone he had the pleasure of meeting today, and he look forward to the future.
