With the release of Diablo 2 Resurrected, Twitch streamer that goes by the name ‘AnnacakeLIVE’ honored the occasion with an outstanding Deckard Cain cosplay.
With the remaster of Diablo 2, players are getting ready to battle the hoards of evil once more after years of anticipation. Longtime fans are excited to jump back into the fray now that the game’s iconic hack-and-slash gameplay has been preserved.
Twitch streamer Annacake, a long-time Diablo content creator, wore a Deckard Cain attire to her first D2R broadcast to commemorate the milestone.
On launch day, a large number of viewers lingered and listened to the livestream as she dived into the remaster.
She quietly started her stream for her fans to bask in the cosplay’s glory while stating; “I’m sorry for the silent stream because with my freakin voice I ruined it all. I Deckard Cain was resurrected a little bit earlier.”
Anna also took requests from the audience and performed many of Deckard’s iconic one-liners from the Diablo franchise. And when the stream began, there was a lot of excitement, with a lot of people contributing and gifting subs as soon as Deckard appeared.
Anna shared a video of the stunning makeup job that turned her into Cain on Twitter, showcasing each step of the transformation. The streamer put in a lot of effort into the project, wearing the cosplay and broadcasting in it for seven hours while playing D2R.
Deckard’s debut in D2 set the way for one of the game’s most renowned characters, and the devoted fan did the franchise proud. Annacakes costume was one of the best D2R launch day surprises, and we can’t wait to see what else the community has in store.
