In order to reach this weight, Logitech had to omit any lighting options and it has also forgone the eight macro buttons in favor of the standard five buttons. These comprise of the clickers, scroll wheel and two side buttons located on the right thumb side. Therefore, although it still retains an ambidextrous shape, it is still more suited to right-handed gamers.

Although it does not have a dedicated dpi button, the side buttons can be assigned this function. The dpi settings and macro bindings can be set through the Logitech G Hub software. Logitech G Pro keyboard

A_babybay uses a Logitech G Pro keyboard. A_babybay’s gaming setup includes a Logitech G Pro keyboard. This wired keyboard has a tenkeyless design so as to take up less table room. It is constructed from a solid steel backplate encased in plastic that is soldered with GX Blue switches and set with removable ABS keycaps. The switches give a clicky feedback at actuate at a force of 50g and an actuation point of 2mm for a total travel distance of 4mm. Its Fn + F-keys can be set with macro profiles, either of your own binding, or from a library of preset macros for over 580 games that can be accessed via its G Hub software. A_babybay uses a SteelSeries Arctis 1 headset. The SteelSeries Arctis 1 is a wireless gaming headset that has 40mm drivers. It multi-pattern and simple plug-and-play design are intended enable broadcasters to setup their streams as quickly as possible.

It offers a frequency response range of 20 – 20,000Hz at a nominal impedance of 13Ω and a maximum SPL of 122dB. Additionally, the user can also access Blue VO!CE technology through either G HUB or Blue Sherpa to further enhance the stream with vocal effects and similar enhancements. A_babybay uses a Sony a6000 camera. The Sony a6000 is a mirrorless digital camera that is fairly common among streamers. In fact, it can also be found in the setups of Destroy, MuTeX and Pokimane, to name a few. It is designed to be much smaller than a regular DSLR camera so that it is relatively easy to transport and use on daily basis. Its 24.3MP APS-C-sized Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor affords an ISO range of 100-25,600 with a maximum video recording resolution of 1920 x 1080 Full HD at 24p or fast-paced action shots at 60p and 60i frame-rates. It also has a built-in electronic viewfinder as well as hybrid autofocus with 179-point focal plane phase-detection this allows for the camera to shoot at up to 11fps. All of these can be instantly shared to a smartphone or tablet through either WiFi or NFC communication with the press of a button.

However, its battery life can only last for up to 3 hours with continuous usage and the Lithium Metal battery takes about 4-5 hours to charge. So, it may not be the best choice for an amateur videographer, but could be ok for a V-logger, especially if they bring spare batteries along. But, if you’re just starting out with a basic gaming stream, you might want to save your funds before splurging on a pricey piece of equipment. So, it would probably be better to stick with a basic plug-and-play webcam when you’re first starting out.

A_babybay uses a TC Helicon GoXLR Mini mixer. The TC-Helicon is the compact, no-frills version of its popular predecessor, the TC-Helicon GoXLR. This version is also for solo recordings. It offers 4-channels for Mic, Chat, Music, and System, respectively. Each of these channels has their own volume slider and mute button. It allows for input of either one TS/TRS/TRRS or XLR microphone, as well as and one set of headphones. The GoXLR Mini is also capable of producing up to +40V phantom power with the press of a button, as well as also provide up to 70dB of gain. Its RGB lighting effects can be set through its software.
