Gaming Origins

PowerOfEvil has been playing video games since he was little, with one of his first games being Frogger. He was introduced by his father and older brother who are also avid gamers As he got older, he got into strategy games such as Warcraft III and Age of Empires II, as well as shooters like Unreal Tournament 2004. In high school, he mainy played World of Warcraft and DotA until he was introduced to League of Legends by his older brother at then end of season 1/beginning of season 2 in late 2011, and immediately fell in love with it. He actually got into the midlane role, because that is what was needed when he joined his brother and their friends’ team.

He dropped out of high school at 17 to pursue professional esports after getting a contract offer, as well as the opportunity to move into Unicorns of Love’s gaming house.

Professional Gaming

He debuted in the pro-LOL scene with Unicorns of Love for the 2015 year and left them in November 2015 in favor of Origen. He then joined Misfits Gaming in December 2016. He only remained with them for a year, before moving to the US to join OpTic Gaming. He again only stayed on the roster for a year before electing to go to CLG as their starting midlaner. He remained with CLG until November 27, 2019 and announced his move to FlyQuest that same day. He also remained with them for a year, before transitioning to TSM in later November 2020. He remained on the team until his contract ended a year later.

He started streaming on Twitch in February 2017.

Income

According to PowerOfEvil’s Twitch chat bot, he has around 100 subscribers. This should earn him at least $350 USD per month, excluding additional revenue from sources such as donations, his team salary, tournament winnings, tiered subscriptions, sponsorships, and Twitch cheer bit donations. In 2017, he stated that professional LOL players earn at least €2,000 ($2,440 USD) per month. It has certainly increased since then. EsportsEarnings puts his overall winnings at over $120,000 USD.
