Yousef “FouseyTube” or Fousey, who was suspended from Twitch on August 7, 2023, has announced his entry on the streaming service Kick.
The streamer recently came under intense criticism after being accused of abusing a woman at an airport who was obviously intoxicated. The outrage was heightened by the notion that the woman had survived s*xual trafficking. Following the uproar, Fousey issued a thorough message in which he declared his intention to take a break from the sport. He also made it known that he was receiving medical attention. But on August 8, 2023, the YouTuber announced on Twitter that he would be streaming on Kick. He stated: “Hello? Is this thing on? Can you hear me @KickStreaming? You said the deal was what? RETWEET if it’s time to join the dark side.”
Before being banned from Twitch, Fousey was in the midst of a tremendously successful period in his online career, which was characterized by a month-long subathon that saw him gain over 32K followers. Nearly 200K people have also become his fans. However, the streamer was banned as a result of his recent actions at an airport. It’s important to note that he is charged with having sex with the woman in question.
The American has announced that he will now join the Trainwreckstv and Stake-backed streaming platform Kick after taking a one-day break from streaming. He already has a sizable following of more than 4.5K followers as of this writing. It’s not yet known, though, whether he plans to use the new service only, or if he’ll eventually return to Twitch if his suspension is eventually overturned. He asked his followers to participate in a Twitter poll by voting.
