Emiru, also known as Emily Schunk, is a well-liked cosplayer and Twitch streamer. She gained notoriety through her League of Legends streams, and she now has more than 1.1 million Twitch followers.
But when she disclosed joining the gaming group One True King, she made headlines. However, since joining OTK, Emiru has developed into a “loan shark” as well as a streamer. Mizkif, an OTK co-founder and Twitch streamer, recently asked Emiru for a loan since he was having issues with his bank. The “loan shark” joke sprang from this exchange, but Emiru is now bothered by it.
She recently disclosed the effect of this joke, “So since the loan shark joke thing started, a lot of, not a lot of people, like three or four people have come to me to ask me for massive loans. And it’s all people, that I’m kind of friends with. It kind of makes me sad.”
But it didn’t end there; she soon received a request for a $130,000 loan. A person Emiru has known for more than a week has lately asked her for a loan, according to a statement she made on her stream. The first amount was small, but it gradually increased to a sizable number of money. They claimed to create her a contract that would provide her some security, but the Twitch streamer was never willing to lend that individual money.
Then, Emiru revealed on the stream that she had gotten a contract from that person, saying, “They wanted $130,000. I was like, ‘Who do you think I am?’ And here’s the crazy part. They wanted 20 years to pay me back. They wanted to pay me back, like $500 a month for 20 years.”
The 25-year-old refused the loan because she was initially reluctant to make a financial contribution. Additionally, they demanded a loan with no interest. On her broadcast, Emiru also said that Mizkif’s riches was a factor in her decision to give him money. He doesn’t have much money right now, but he has other investments. She is sure the OTK co-founder will pay her back.
