Matthew Haag AKA Nadeshot’s Twitch account was compromised. The CEO of 100 Thieves couldn’t help but make fun of the terrible gameplay he was seeing while the imposter was playing Snake with his newfound fame.
Nadeshot has previously been a victim of cyberattacks on social media. His Twitter and PSN accounts were compromised in 2018. Additionally, his YouTube videos were deleted by hackers in 2015 after they gained access to his account.
On July 26th, a hacker this time specifically targeted the content creator’s Twitch account. They displayed their facecam throughout the stream while playing a third-party Snake game. Additionally, the hacker requested that viewers email them with donations.
However, as it was all happening, Nadeshot couldn’t help but laugh at the hacker and see past the obvious trolling. He made fun of the hacker’s subpar gameplay. The content creator appears to be mostly at ease. This is not to downplay how serious the situation is, but Nadeshot is used to these situations.
One viewer commented on it in the Twitch chat, saying if they can mod him before Nadeshot came back.
Nadeshot’s Twitch account is currently inaccessible because it was temporarily banned to stop the hacker (as well as homophobic language used on stream). The CEO of 100 Thieves can still bounce back from it, though. As soon as Twitch is able to fix the issue, Nadeshot’s account should be operational once again.
