Since her debut in May 2020, Kkatamina’s rise through the Twitch ranks has been nothing short of international fame.
Known for mostly streaming Valorant and in the Just Chatting category, her popularity rose in 2021, reaching 400,000 followers thanks to streams with Sykkuno, Valkyrae, and Ludwig.
However, she now owns a record that none of the other women on the platform, including Pokimane and Amouranth, can claim. Kkatamina broke the record for most Twitch subscribers for a female streamer on November 18, the ninth day of her subathon.
Kkatamina has been hosting a subathon on her channel for the past two weeks, streaming almost nonstop and increasing her subscriber count. She’s played Mario Party Superstars and Minecraft during the subathon.
On November 18, she surpassed 53,000 subscribers, surpassing DJ Sintica’s previous high of 52,992 set in September 2021. Kkatamina has over 54,700 subscribers at the time of publication.
Kkatamina ranks fifth in terms of active Twitch subscribers, behind CriticalRole, xQc, Gaules, and NICKMERCS, with 54,700 subscribers.
She did, however, receive plenty of assistance along the way, with fans and streaming celebrities alike pitching in to keep the subathon going. Valkyrae, a YouTube star, gave $5,000 worth of subscribers to show her support.
With her subathon still going strong and NICKMERCS only a few thousand points behind her, she has a chance to climb even higher up the list.
