The live stream, which will coincide with Foodbanks’ Twitch channel’s one-year anniversary, will help raise funds and awareness for Food Banks in the run-up to Christmas. Food Banks provide emergency food and support to people who are poor, which number over 14 million in the UK.
The 24-hour live stream, hosted by club presenters Rebekah Walker and Matt Tarr, will begin at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15 and will end after a live match watch along of our Premier League match away at Leicester City on Thursday, December 16.
Fans will be able to participate in live FIFA 22 gameplay, interviews with Spurs legends, quizzes with official Supporters’ Clubs from around the world, and even a live training session with a Club coach as part of the live stream.
Viewers will also have the chance to sign a Christmas card for our men’s first team and win some special prizes.
The fundraising campaign, which allows fans to donate by text, was first launched in January in collaboration with the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust and the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.
Since then, the campaign has been promoted at all home matches and on Club social media channels, with Tottenham Foodbank holding matchday collections at the nearby Tottenham Community Sports Centre for fans to donate much-needed items.
Fans can donate by texting COYS24FB plus an amount to 70085* during the 24-hour live stream. All funds raised will be split between Tottenham Foodbank and North Enfield Foodbank, both of which the Club has a long-standing relationship with.
The Club will make its annual delivery of items donated by players and staff to both Food Banks ahead of Christmas.
