Mr Beast has been giving away millions of dollars to various viewers since he went viral in 2017 and he is now able to give away large sums of money without affecting his net worth thanks to his brand deals and video views.

Jimmy Donaldson AKA Mr Beast is known as “Youtube’s biggest philanthropist.” He began donating when he began receiving sponsorships from companies like Quid.

He began giving money to anyone he could, including the homeless, Twitch streamers, family, friends, and fans. He walked around his city at one point, handing out $1,000 to a number of homeless people. As his fame grows, so does the amount of money he gives away.

Mr Beast gave away a $250K grand prize in a rock, paper, scissors streaming competition in 2020. After winning a competition, he gave $300,000 to the D’Amelio family, who have gone viral on TikTok.

He also held his own competition after the release of Squid Game, but without the violence. The top prize was $456,000 and explained that the money he gives away allows him to continue his career as a Youtuber.

He receives millions of views for each donation. For him, his views become a return on his investment from which he can profit. He also addressed his income in a 2018 video, saying that his parents aren’t wealthy, and that every dollar he’s ever made has come from Youtube, which pays better.

He went viral once for donating $100,000 to his mother, who initially flatly refused the money and explained that she would accept the money in order for him to receive the views for which he is compensated.

Following his viral success, he entered PewDiePie’s competition to become Youtube’s most subscribed channel. In 2020, he opened MrBeast Burger, a virtual restaurant. Beast Burger franchise rights can be purchased by a variety of restaurants, and customers can order the burgers through online delivery services.

Donaldson has also established Beast Philanthropy, his own charity. He teamed up with NASA engineer Mark Rober to raise funds for Team Trees, which will plant millions of trees.

In addition, the Youtuber has contributed to the raising of over $18.5 million for Team Seas, a program aimed at removing waste from the oceans.
