A Hololive star Usada Pekora recently surprised fans by returning from her hiatus in less than a month. The rabbit streamer took a break to rest her vocal cords and is gradually resuming her schedule.

Usada Pekora has been streaming nonstop since her debut in July of this year. However, near the end of her stint, she began to experience health issues, and doctors forced her to take a break to rest her vocal cords. While the streamer had expected to be out of commission for months, she surprised fans by returning on June 13th — four weeks after her farewell.

She joked that she sounded just like she did three years ago when she made her debut.

The rabbit used her free time to pick up new hobbies, such as running and to rest her voice. Her recovery, however, was quick — even if she thought the month “went by quickly” — and she’s ready to resume her rigorous streaming schedule.

Usada Pekora received training from an “old woman” who assisted her in managing her sore throat and taught her how to avoid nodules in the future.

The risk of relapse is high but Pekora has no plans to slow down or abandon her craft.

Within 12 hours of going live, Pekora’s one-hour return stream had over 500,000 viewers. If you missed it, don’t worry: she promised to return tomorrow, prompting a round of applause on Twitter.
