Twitch streamer that goes by the name ‘Dish’ discovered she had been scammed by an Amazon seller while unwrapping a box of Japanese Eevee Heroes cards during a recent live broadcast.

Since Logan Paul sparked the latest Pokemon Trading Card craze, content creators all around the world have been using their platforms to crack open packs of the latest set. As a result, twitch streamers including Mizkif were able to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on cards, even if it meant losing money at times.

While the trend has slowed since it began last year, fans of the series have continued to open packs with their friends and family.

Twitch streamer Dish’s latest pack opening stream took a turn for the worse after she purchased a booster package of 30 Eevee Heroes packs. Dish unveiled a brand new box of Japanese Eevee Heroes packs that she had received from Amazon while streaming on October 6th. However, shortly after, she seems to notice something’s off about the cards. She got stunned while stating; “Wait, I’m sorry… …wait… THEY’RE OPEN!”

Her chat have been trying to console her by pointing out that it could be a production error, with either not enough glue or none at all. “How many cards are in the first pack?” the streamer said as she took a pack from the box, reading from her chat: “1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Five cards… is that correct?”

“Those aren’t Japanese cards,” a voice from behind her says, and she realizes it. She then turns the cards over, learns they’re energy cards, and laughs as she places them on the table.

That’s when the streamer discovered she had been tricked by an Amazon seller at that time, and she didn’t have anything from the set she was hoping to pull because all 30 boxes had been opened and replaced in the same way.
