NRG_Hamlinz has been playing and streaming Fortnite since December 2017. Despite having a two-month handicap, he was still soon able to prove himself in the leaderboards and scrims. As a result, he was already. invited to join TSM’s Fortnite team in February 2018. Since then, he has managed to maintain his momentum over the years due to his fantastic mechanical skills, great teamwork with other streamers and chat engagement. Although he, as with the rest of TSM, are sponsored by Logitech, it is still worthwhile to look at all the gear included in NRG_Hamlinz’s gaming setup.
WHAT MOUSE DOES NRG_HAMLINZ USE?
NRG_Hamlinz uses a Logitech G703 Lightspeed mouse. The Logitech G703 is a right-handed, wireless gaming mouse that integrates a Hero 16K PMW3366 optical sensor. This sensor is capable of 1:1 tracking at a speed of 400+IPS with a maximum acceleration of 40G. It has a sensitivity of 100 – 16,000dpi and a report rate of 1ms. The dpi button can be set with up to four settings and the two thumb-side macro keys can store up to five onboard profiles. These, as well as the RGB settings, can be programmed through the Logitech G Hub software.
It has a charging USB cable of 1.8m (70.8”), but it can also be charged with the Logitech G Powerplay mousepad. It has dimensions of 12.4 x 6.8 x 4.3cm (2.88 x 2.67 x 1.69”) and a weight of 107g (3.77oz.) It is compatible with macOS 10.11 or later and Windows 7 or later.
WHAT KEYBOARD DOES NRG_HAMLINZ USE?
NRG_Hamlinz uses a Logitech G Pro keyboard. The Logitech G Pro keyboard has tenkeyless, wired design with a removable three-prong mini USB cable that is 1.8m (70.8”) long. Its chassis is made from solid plastic and utilizes Romer G keys with GX Blue switches to provide users with “25 percent faster actuation than standard mechanical switches.” These switches have an actuation distance of 2mm (0.1”) with an actuation force of 50G. They are meant to last for up to 70 million keystrokes.
Other features include LIGHTSYNC RGB capabilities, as well as a USB pass-through slot. Its dimensions are 3.4 x 36.1 x 15.3cm (14.96 x 1.97 x 6.3”) and it weighs in at 1.32kg (2.9lbs.) It is compatible with macOS 10.11 and up, as well as Windows 7 and up.
WHAT HEADSET DOES NRG_HAMLINZ USE?
NRG_Hamlinz uses a Logitech G Pro headset. NRG_Hamlinz’s gaming setup includes the closed-backed, surround sound Logitech G Pro headset. It has a wired, over-ear design as well as Hybrid mesh Pro-G drivers with neodymium magnets that provide a frequency response range of 20 – 20,000Hz, a nominal impedance of 32Ohms and have a sensitivity of 107dB@1KHz. Their SPL level is at 30mW/1cm and the leatherette, soft-touch earpads provide noise isolation of up to 16dB.
The headband is made from TR90 Nylon and is fitted with a steel slider and polycarbonate pivots for the ear cups. Its 4mm condenser microphone is unidirectional, detachable and flexible. It has built-in pop-filters and offers a frequency response range of between 100 – 10, 000Hz. It’s important to note that some users feel that it is a bit on the quiet side, so you might want to listen to sample sample review videos.
Additionally, it also comes with a pair of microsuede ear pads for the user to swap out for the leatherette ones if they prefer. Its detachable 2m (78.74”) cord has an inline volume and mute control box.
WHAT MICROPHONE DOES NRG_HAMLINZ USE?
NRG_Hamlinz uses a Blue Yeti microphone. The Blue Yeti microphone is a relatively cheap USB microphone that allows for options of for polar patterns, namely unidirectional, bidirectional, stereo, and omnidirectional. It offers a frequency response range of between 20 – 20,000 Hz, has a nominal impedance of 16Ohms and a signal-to-noise ratio of 120dB:1 kHz @ 1Pa.
It has a detachable desk-stand and needs to be kept upright in order to work properly. At the base of its body, it has a pattern-direction switch, sensitivity control; mute button; & headphone volume control knob. It’s a pretty good option if you’re just starting out. There are a few users who recommend buying a separate boom arm, though.
WHAT WEBCAM DOES NRG_HAMLINZ USE?
NRG_Hamlinz uses a Logitech C922 webcam. The Logitech C922 is another useful piece of starter-equipment. It is a basic plug-and-play USB webcam that can be easily clipped onto any flat screen or boom arm. It is good for basic gaming and chatting streams, and is used by a few other big streamers as well, including Nickmercs, the x2Twins and HusKerrs.
It can record at either 1920 x 1080p HD at 30fps or 720p at 60fps and also allows for a field of view of up to 78°. This can be adjusted through the webcam’s software. It is compatible with Windows 7 and up, as well as Mac OS 10.10 and up.
