TSM FTX (previously Team SoloMid) is a global esports organization with a professional esports team. Players from Apex Legends, League of Legends, Valorant, and other esports titles are represented by the organization, which is based in the United States.
TSM has made huge moves after securing numerous rounds of funding, including a 10-year $210 million naming rights contract with Hong Kong cryptocurrency exchange FTX.
TSM FTX has recently released a video on August 10th at 3:00 AM BST in which pro Apex Legends player Eric “Snip3down” Wrona announced the official debut of a new Japanese social channel dedicated to providing live updates, results, news, and highlights in Japanese. He stated; “We’ve felt the support growing every single day and we wanted to do something to give back to you. Starting today, we’ll be launching our TSM Japan page where we’ll be able to communicate directly with our fans in Japanese”.
The social channel is presently focused on Apex Legends, but it will expand to include more games in the future. Snip3down added, “We also have plans to expand our coverage to Rainbow Six Siege and Valorant in Japan.”
Apex Legends has been a huge hit in Japan, and it’s no doubt a driving force behind TSM’s expansion there. TSM also boasts the most successful Apex Legends roster in history, with players such as: Phillip “ImperialHal” Dosen, Jordan “Reps” Wolfe, and Eric “Snip3down”.
TSM Japan’s new Twitter page has over 23,000 followers just hours after its official launch. We anticipate a large number of current and new Japanese fans flocking to the dedicated account. TSM’s decision to expand into Japan is also nothing new. After signing a Brazilian League of Legends Wild Rift group, they just opened a Portuguese social channel, and they even have a specific TSM India social account for their PUBG Mobile lineup.
