WHAT MONITOR DOES TRAINWRECKSTV USE?
TrainwrecksTV uses an Acer KG271 monitor.
The Acer KG271 is a 27” gaming monitor that has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of FHD 1920 x 1080p. It is integrated with AMD FreeSync technology that helps to prevent instances of screen tearing and stuttering. It also features Acer EyeProtect’s Flicker-less, Blue Light Filter, ComfyView and Low-dimming technology to further improve the user’s comfort over long-term use.
It also features two built-in 4W speakers. The stand has VESA wall mounting capabilities and offers viewing angles of 170°(H)/160°(V) and can be tilted -5°~15°.
WHAT MOUSE DOES TRAINWRECKSTV USE?
TrainwrecksTV uses a SteelSeries Rival 310 mouse.
The SteelSeries Rival 310 is a wired gaming mouse that is set with a TrueMove3 optical sensor. This offers a range of 100 – 12,000 dpi that can be set in increments of 100 with the potential to store up to two profiles onboard. These can then be toggled between with the dpi button located below the scroll wheel. The sensor also allows for 1 to 1 tracking and a maximum tracking speed of up to 350 IPS.
It has an ergonomic design that is intended for right-handed users who prefer either a palm or claw grip-style. There are pure silicone side grips and pinky rest as well as Teflon feet for extra control. There are six total programmable buttons including two side-buttons above the thumb, the clickers that are set on Omron switches, the dpi button, and the clickable scroll wheel.
WHAT KEYBOARD DOES TRAINWRECKSTV USE?
TrainwrecksTV uses a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate keyboard.
Trainwreck’s gaming setup features the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate that is also found in xQcOW’s setup. It is a wired gaming keyboard that comes with either Razer Orange Mechanical Switches or Razer Green Mechanical Switches. The Orange switches are silent, with an actuation force of 45G, while the Orang switches are tactile with an actuation force of 50G.
It has per-key LED backlighting that can be set through the Razer Synapse software. Additionally, it also boasts 10-key roll over and anti-ghosting technology. The keycaps can be removed and swapped around, although the switches are fixed. Its dimensions are 47.5 x 17.1 x 3.9cm (7.09 x 17.61 x 1.69”) and weighs 1.5kg (2.98lbs).
WHAT HEADSET DOES TRAINWRECKSTV USE?
TrainwrecksTV uses an Astro A50 headset.
TrainwrecksTV’s gaming setup includes the black and silver version of the wireless Astro A50 headset. This version is compatible with a PC, as well as the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5. This headset is closed-backed to provide noise cancellation and to allow for its Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound effects.
Its earcups are set with 40mm neodymium drivers that provide a frequency response range of 20 – 20,000Hz with a sensitivity of 118dB @1kHz. They have an over-ear fit, adjustable padded headband, and come with sets of swappable velour and leatherette earpads.
Its has a battery life of 8 – 10 hours and can be charged either while resting on its docking station, or while plugged into your gaming device. It also features a noise-cancelling, boom microphone that is flip-to-mute. It utilizes a unidirectional polar pattern and is flexible.

WHAT MICROPHONE DOES TRAINWRECKSTV USE?
TrainwrecksTV uses an AKG Pro C214 microphone.
The AKG Pro C214 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone that utilizes a unidirectional polar pattern. It has a side-address and offers a frequency response range of 20 – 20,000Hz that can be adjusted with the 160Hz base cut filter and -20dB attenuation switch that are found on its base. These features are combined with its nominal impedance of 200Ω combined with its sensitivity of 20 mV/Pa which allow for a wide range of vocal and instruments to be realistically captured by the device.
It requires the purchase of an XLR cable and phantom-power compatible audio interface in order to record. However, it does come with an external windshield to help filter out unwanted wind sounds, as well as a shock mount to provide protection from interference from vibrations. There is also a sturdy carry case to help with storage and transportation.
