A well-known Twitch streamer Chance Morris AKA ‘Sodapoppin’ recently paid a visit to Los Santos on December 14th. This wasn’t your typical visit, though; instead of playing his usual role, Morris chose to cause havoc as a cat.
Sodapoppin is unquestionably one of the most experienced Twitch streamers, if not the entire live streaming industry. He has amassed a massive following and viewership by being sporadic and true to himself in nature — especially on stream.
This personality trait has permeated his streams, particularly his GTA RP broadcasts, where he engages in roleplaying (particularly in the famous NoPixel server).
He’s previously portrayed Kevin, a character based on himself. He’s not only not playing himself this time, but he’s also not playing as a human.
While Sodapoppin was looking for a game to play with his friends near the end of his stream, he decided to return to NoPixel this time as a cat.
Things picked up when his friend Vigors — a well-known roleplayer on the server — hopped on Discord with him and asked what he was up to.
As time went on, more of Sodapoppin’s friends joined the Discord. MOONMOON, a fellow Twitch streamer, then suggested that Sodapoppin hold a gun, speculating on what it would look like for a feline to wield a ranged weapon.
Sodapoppin was given a rocket launcher, of all things, after a few minutes. He attempted to fire it but was unable to do so.
Later, they boarded a car and attempted to shoot down passing NPCs. They were eventually unable to fire the rocket launcher, prompting Vigors to hand Sodapoppin yet another gun to use… which also failed to fire, prompting Sodapoppin to exit the game.
When it comes to his streams, Sodapoppin can be unpredictable, so it was only fitting that he was given a rocket launcher and other guns while playing as a cat on the most popular roleplay server. It’s a shame that more chaos couldn’t happen for the sake of entertainment.
