As the beta for Overwatch 2 approaches, a new leak has surfaced, claiming to reveal the Junker Queen hero’s kit.

The Junker Queen has been a rumored Overwatch hero for quite some time, ever since the Junkertown map was first introduced to the game’s universe.

Former Game Director Jeff Kaplan even stated that the team had “big plans” for the character in the future, and while he is no longer with Blizzard, it appears that she is still coming.

Félix ‘Féfé’ Münch, a former Overwatch League coach, revealed the upcoming hero’s kit, including her abilities and ultimate, on April 5. The information was sent to Münch by a viewer, according to him. Take these rumors with a grain of salt, but this could be our first look at an OW2 hero after the beta.

Féfé delved into what he had heard about the hero during a Twitch stream on April 5th with translations provided by Reddit user ‘Stuck-In-Orbit.’

Her primary weapon appears to be a shotgun known as the “Scattergun,” and she also carries a sword-like melee weapon with a bleeding effect that deals damage over time.

The sword also has a boomerang function, according to the leak, where she can throw it back and possibly boop enemies as it flies back to her.

Aside from weapons, the leak claims she has a “Rallying Call” that grants her 200 HP and 100 to allies. She also gets a movement boost, though it’s unclear if this applies to teammates as well.

“Carnage,” her next ability, deals damage to all enemies in front of her while also inflicting a bleeding effect that causes damage over time. The exact amount of damage dealt by this ability is unknown.

Next, “Adrenaline shot” is a passive ability that, according to the leaker, would heal all damage caused by a bleeding effect, which would essentially be Ashe’s Dynamite or Widowmaker’s Venom Mine.

Finally, the Junker Queen’s “Rampage” ultimately sees her charge in front of enemies and deal anti-healing damage to them, similar to Ana’s Biotic Grenade, while healing herself.

It’s unclear what role Junker Queen will play, and her class and equipment may change before she’s included in the game.

Hopefully, with the Overwatch 2 beta launching on April 26th, we’ll learn more about the Junker Queen and whether or not this leak is accurate.
