Recently, a devoted superfan of YouTube star and Twitch streamer David Dobrik approached him on the street and revealed that she has had a tattoo of his name on her finger for more than two years, leaving him speechless.
Celebrities and internet personalities are accustomed to having their names and faces tattooed on the bodies of their fans. It’s happened to everyone from CorpseHusband, Pokimane, Ninja, Joe Rogan, and many more. However, that doesn’t make it any less shocking, though.
It must be surreal to see a fan so devoted to you and your work that they’re willing to have a symbol of you tattooed on their skin. After running into a superfan on the street, David Dobrik got to see it firsthand and recorded himself talking to the fan and shared it on Instagram. He zoomed in on the tattoo on the inner side of her middle finger and said that the said girl had his name tattooed on his fingers for two years.
David Dobrik asked the girl what was the reason, point, and why. The girl replied nervously looking away from the camera saying that it’s because he loves him.
Some viewers called the interaction “creepy” and “cult-like,” while others said it was her body and her decision. Even after all of the controversy and drama, the streamer has a devoted following, as evidenced by this fan’s tattoo.
Some believe that his well-publicized comeback is part of a worrying trend. But that hasn’t stopped him from embarking on new and exciting projects, such as Discovering David Dobrik, his brand-new travel show.
