Name Origins
He named his original WoW character after the Meteos game that he played on his Gameboy DS when he was a kid.
Gaming Origins
Meteos grew up playing video games, with his favorite being Warcraft III. He started playing League of Legends during its beta in mid-2009 with his IRL friends and has been maining it ever since. He initially just used to play normal games with his friends and only began playing ranked years later when they found it difficult to find matches on their elo. Outside of gaming, he also used to play trombone in his high school’s band.
After high school, he went on to study Computer Science at college, but dropped out when he received an offer to join Cloud 9.
Professional Gaming
He first began competing in major tournaments in 2013 and managed to draw Cloud 9’s attention early that year. He originally joined as a sub but was soon invited to join the main roster. He remained on their official roster until July 2015, when he was benched. He then joined the NA LCS Roster in December 2015 and later rejoined Cloud 9 for the 2016 NA LCS Summer Split. However, they benched him again in December that year.
But he got them back when they loaned him to Phoenix1 in February 2017 for the for week 5 of the 2017 NA LCS spring split as a sub, where the team won 2-0 against Team EnVyUs and then against Cloud 9 themselves a couple of weeks later. He then transferred to 100 Thieves in November 2017. However, they then traded him to FlyQuest ‘s Academy team in July 2018, where he remained until Npvember that year. He then joined OpTic Gaming a few days later and remained with them for a year. A couple of days later, he returned to 100 Thieves on November 20, 2019 and remained with them until July 2020.
