Name Origins
When he played on the PlayStation, 3, he was looking for a new gamertag to adopt. He couldn’t think of one, so he Googled gamertags and found ‘Inception’ as part one of them. He liked it and decided to use it. However, it was already taken, so he added to Xs to the end of it. This was during CoD: Black Ops I.
Gaming Origins
InceptionXx grew up playing football and playing video games and did both right through high school as well. Although he initially started out as a PlayStation player, he later switched to Xbox because that is what his friends were playing on.
He didn’t go to university after high school because he decided to pursue football in some way, rather than making a second attempt at getting the grades required for Engineering. So, he went on to work in retail instead until his content creation took off enough that he was able to do it full time. He was seventeen when he graduated from high school.
Professional Gaming
He set up his Twitch account in April 2013 and uploaded his first YouTube video in July 2013. When he started out, he would work a full day and then stream all night. This went on for around three years until he was earning around the same amount as his retail jobs was paying him.
