GennaBain started playing video games with her cousins on her Nintendo when she was very young. She was raised on a farm by her single mom. In her teens, she moved on to PC games, such as Diablo II, Warcraft 3, StarCraft: Brood War, Counter-Strike 1.6 and Quake. However, these were then put a side in favor of six year of raiding in World of Warcraft. She switched to variety gameplay after WOW changed ownership and direction.

After high school, she obtained a degree in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She then worked for a few years, first as a Content Developer and then as a Graphic and Web Designer. She met her late husband, TotalBiscuit, at BlizzCon in 2005 and they were married in 2007. However, due to visa issues they were only really able to live together in 2011 in the US.

She currently works as a caster and voice actress.

She inadvertently founded Axiom Esports when she and her late husband, TotalBiscuit, discovered the Korean Protoss player CranK through subreddits and his stream. They saw his potential and felt that its was a waste to leave him there, so they brought him to compete in the US in the hopes of getting him noticed by a team. They then became that team officially in September 2012. The team was based in Seoul, South Korea until they disbanded it in October 2015.

She started streaming on Twitch in December 2010 when it was still justin.tv. Although she initially set up her YouTube account in 2009, the first video on her YouTube channel is from early 2011. However, due to the view count of those early videos, it would seem that she has been producing content earlier than that, but she deleted a her pre-2011 content.

She stopped streaming in May 2021.

She has survived cancer twice.
