Name Origins
She took horse riding lessons when she was sixteen and her favorite horse was called Gemini, so she decided to combine it with her own name. She is also a Gemini.
Gaming Origins
GeminiTay has been playing video games since childhood, with her first game being Super Mario Sunshine. She discovered Minecraft in 2012 and was drawn to it because it allowed her to express her creativity through a game. She especially loved the fact that she could place blocks wherever she wanted to without them being affected by gravity. She initially started out on the Pocket Edition and later moved on to PC because she loved it so much.
After high school, she went on to study Medical Laboratory Science at university in order to become a medical laboratory technologist.
Professional Gaming
She first began uploading YouTube videos to her channel in July 2013 because she wanted to share her projects with others, but later removed them when she stopped creating content for a while. She then later decided to make a second attempt, with a focus on world editing content when she realized that there was a demand for it and that helped her channel to grow exponentially. Eventually she moved on to creative videos as well.
She joined HermitCraft in July 2018.
Streaming Hours
Her stream schedule is inconsistent as she prioritizes her schoolwork and YouTube channel over her Twitch channel.
