After reading a post in chat that caught Doug Bowser, the head of Nintendo of Americas, notice during a Twitch streamer’s in-person stream at Super Nintendo World, the streamer was humiliated.

Finally, it has occurred. In order to create a whole park based on some of the most recognizable video game brands, Universal Studios teamed up with Nintendo of America. Although Super Nintendo World doesn’t open to the public until February 17, enthusiasts with annual passes have already had access to the theme park.

On February 16, Twitch streamer Triciaisburdy gave her audience a look into the real world during an IRL stream, but she was left feeling humiliated when conversation managed to catch the attention of the company’s most prominent figure. Tricia was checking chat on her phone while she was streaming when she picked up a message that stated, “Say hi to Doug Bowser.”

Doug Bowser replies, and you can hear him a few feet from the stream. “Hi, Who said that?” he asked. Tricia felt embarrassed because she had no idea who he was as he strolled over to the stream. “Oh, you’re the head of Nintendo,” she said shyly.

She questioned the Nintendo executive if the well-known character was named after him after realizing that his last name was Bowser. He naturally replied that it was only a coincidence. Doug Bowser left after their exchange, and Tricia resorted to her chat to express her humiliation. “Guys you have made me so embarrassed,” she said, laughing.

The Twitch streamer soon recovered from her embarrassing situation and continued to enjoy her time at Super Nintendo World. She hasn’t been the only one to broadcast from the well-known theme park thus far, but given how well-liked IRL broadcasts are on Twitch, it’s likely that she won’t be the last.
