Following the death of 32-year-old Twitch streamer Puppers, fans are expressing their condolences online.
Popular Dead By Daylight Twitch streamer and ALS fighter Puppers died on June 2, 2023, at the age of 32. The well-known disabled gamer was well-known in the community and had worked hard to raise money for those with ALS. Following a post by DBD event group Light in the Fog, admirers and supporters started expressing their condolences online.
Nearly two million people have seen the original tweet as of this writing, and it has received thousands of likes, retweets, comments, and favorites. Steven Spohn, the founder of Ablegamers, quickly retweeted a remark to express his admiration for Puppers. “I’m sad the world lost a good disabled gamer today. A gamer with ALS, Puppers was a force in the DbD community. His LITF event raised over 270k to fight ALS. A true gaming champion by all metrics. My heart goes out to his friends, family, and community on this very difficult day.”
The primary Twitter account for Puppers’ game, Dead By Daylight, also paid tribute to the deceased streamer. They said; “Thank you for finding a home in The Fog. Your joy and love made it a better place, and it was an honor to be comfy with you. Puppers was, and always will be, one of the brightest lights in The Fog. Everyone that light touched is forever changed by having known him.”
Thousands of additional people also commented on the initial tweet. “Rest well. We’ll always keep you in our hearts,” one fan replied.
Due to Puppers’ unexpected deterioration in health, the neighborhood has established a GoFundMe to assist with the cost of funeral arrangements. Only two months have passed since the death of TikToker Harrison Gilks, who was battling a pediatric cancer.
