Twitch streamer Charles White AKA MoistCr1TiKal has disclosed that the newly formed Starforge Systems’ PC prices will be significantly reduced as a result of negative fan feedback.

OTK recently revealed on August 8th that it was joining forces with MoistCr1TiKal to found Starforge Systems, a PC manufacturing firm. While fans were thrilled about the decision, some worried that it might repeat the mistakes of OTK’s previous disastrous business partner, Artesian Builds.

However, Starforge will be different, as promised by MoistCr1TiKal. Instead, the team will consider any fan feedback and adjust.

Following OTK’s exciting announcement, Starforge Systems faced criticism online for the high cost of its personal computers. The Starforge Horizon PC, the company’s entry-level computer, has a starting price of $999.99, but many people claimed they could find comparable products for much less money.

Given the high cost of the components and the configuration, some fans defended the price. It didn’t, however, satisfy detractors who went so far as to label the plan a scam. In response to the complaints, MoistCr1TiKal declared that Starforge would reduce the price of its PCs. However, one viewer during his stream asserted that it was simply a reaction to the backlash.

The entire board got together after the problem was brought to the team’s attention, he continued, to discuss how to resolve it. He gave no specifics regarding which goods will have their prices lowered or when this will happen. He asserted that Starforge Systems will release more information over the next few days, though.
