Diablo Immortal‘s pay-to-win approach has been slammed by popular Twitch Streamer Octavian “Kripparian” Morosan. Many fans have been critical of the game’s aggressive monetisation, and now Kripparian has added his voice to the debate.

Kripparian is a well-known Diablo streamer who rose to prominence after completing Diablo III on Inferno difficulty, which was thought to be impossible at the time. To his dismay, however, such feats may no longer be possible.

Diablo Immortal’s new approach to monetisation has sparked a lot of debate and division in the community. While some players, such as Kripparian, have expressed their displeasure with the game’s pay-to-win model, others, such as Asmongold, have done their best to ignore any criticism.

Others, such as Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, have gone even further, expressing their excitement for Diablo Immortal’s infinite microtransactions. As you might expect, this is not a popular viewpoint among some community members, but it makes more sense when you’re limited by time rather than money, as Shroud is.

Regardless of whether you support Diablo Immortal’s pay-to-win model or are strongly opposed to it, as Kripparian is, the community has been talking about the game since its release, which is a success. It’s unclear how popular the monetisation strategies will be in the long run, with some reports claiming that fully equipping a single character would cost over $100k, but it’s clear that not everyone dislikes the ability to pay to win.
