While filming in Miami, Twitch streamer ‘billzo’ was robbed. He claimed in a Twitter video that he and his friend Freddie were fine, but that a lot of got taken, implying that his vlog documenting his trip around the United States is no longer going to happen.
Billzo, an English streamer known for his ‘Minecraft‘ streams and collaborations with fellow YouTubers like Ranboo and James Marriott, rose to fame with his signature bandana.
With 576K Twitch followers, his fame has allowed him to meet fellow Minecraft streamers from all over the world. For example, in November 2021, he had the opportunity to visit Tubbo, Ranboo, Badlinu, and Aimsey in Los Angeles.
However, while filming the final leg of his America vlog in Miami, billzo’s recent journey took a dark turn.
Billzo and his friend Freddie had been traveling around the United States and filming a vlog about their wild adventures. However, he claimed in a video posted on Twitter on May 25th that he was canceling the vlog because he was robbed while filming in Miami.
A lot of of his things got taken according to billzo, including his insulin, which he needs to manage his Type 1 diabetes sugar levels. The thief also took Freddie’s laptop and his iconic samurai bandana.
Billzo’s fans responded with an outpouring of love for the video. Marriot and Tubbo, two of his Minecraft friends, were among the first to send their best wishes.
Later, Freddie assured fans that he and billzo were “safe” and thanked those who had expressed concern. It’s unclear whether the couple will return to England after the traumatic incident.
